  • I am not paneled with any insurance company. My clients attend therapy on an out-of-network basis or pay for sessions out of pocket. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance company and ask what the out-of-network reimbursement would be for outpatient, online psychotherapy. The specific amount of this reimbursement depends on your plan.

  • I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and health savings accounts (HSA).

  • I am located in the state of Washington and I do not have an in-person office. I provide therapy sessions online via Telehealth.

  • I use an electronic health record system called Simple Practice which is also my online therapy platform. Once you have completed a consult call and discuss scheduling, I will create a client portal for you in Simple Practice where you will access your online sessions. There is also a Simple Practice app that you can download onto your phone or tablet to access your sessions. You will receive a reminder email for your appointments that also contains the link to your session.

  • The length of treatment varies and depends on your concerns and how deep you want the change to occur. Your work with your therapist is unique to you.  Some clients stop therapy after they began to notice improvements in their symptoms. Some clients decide to continue therapy even after they are feeling better to dive into deeper and older issues and to prevent relapse in the future. The deeper and more transformative work takes more time but clients also report longer-lasting change.

  • I have a 48-hour cancelation and reschedule policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please do so 48-hours before your next session. Otherwise, I charge our full fee for late cancelations and no-shows.

  • Be sure to complete all of the forms in your client portal prior to the appointment. We will spend a portion of the appointment reviewing my practice policies, approach to treatment, and expectations. If time permits, we will begin to explore goals for therapy and a treatment plan.
